The Night Fountains Show

Every Saturday from June 27^th to September 19^th 2020.

In the fight against CoVid-19, health measures require us to duplicate access points. Two entrances are available for the same rate:
→ Reservation at 8pm: pedestrian access is possible by the Queen's gate - Entrance: Neptune's gate from 8.00pm (same rate).
→ Reservation at 8.30pm: pedestrian access through the Place d'Armes, Grille d'Honneur - Entrance: Cour des Princes from 8.30pm.

Please note: Reservations are not necessary, you can buy your ticket in advance or on the spot. More information below in the block "Prepare your day".

Every Saturday evening, Château de Versailles magnificent gardens are magically decorated with a thousand lights to dazzle you. During this fairytale stroll, illuminated groves, pools and all the fountains playing to the sound of the Sun King’s music follow you all along until the grand firework.

From the Grand Perspective where you will admire the elegantly lit statues, topiaries and pools, to the recently restored Latone Fountain... From the Green Carpet vibrating in the light of monumental torches, to the Ballroom Grove where you can dance a few steps surrounded by thousands of candles... From the Mirror Pool where you will be surprised by modern water jets mingling, crossing and embracing to the lights of the Colonnade Grove...From the Encelade Grove where you will discover the buried giant to Apollo's Bath where you can admire the sculpted groups of the Thetis grotto... From the Three Fountains Grove where the fountains' rocailles and shells, displayed over three terraces will enchant you, to the aerial effects of the Water Theatre sculpture fountains...As the high point of your visit, magnificent water jets, baroque choreographies and cascades of lights at Neptune Fountain, the largest fountain of the gardens of Château de Versailles. Your stroll will be interspersed with surprises and wonders. And for a perfect ending to this evening, the Groupe F pyrotechnists – the fireworks magicians – will offer a royal fireworks display from the Grand Perspective.

Groupe F, a world-renowned collective of fireworks designers, has been creating the Night Fountains Shows and pyrotechnic shows at the Palade of Versailles since 2007. You have also been able to admire their work on the occasion of the recent Olympic Games in Rio, for the transition to the year 2000...
