Season after season follow the rhythm of baroque music (Lully, Rameau, Charpentier, Campra...), in the heart of the French gardens of Château de Versailles and explore the largest outdoor museum of statues in the world.
Around the corner of a flowerbed, of neatly trimmed boxwoods or in a grove exceptionally open to the public for the Musical Gardens, you will come across statues of Apollo, Proserpine, the Marmosets and other, sometimes hidden, masterpieces. Also admire the topiaries cut by hand by the Château de Versailles art gardeners, using a know-how handed down from generation to generation.
THE FOUNTAINS COME ALIVE FOR YOU !
The Water Theatre Grove will offer you its most beautiful fountain sculptures playing, and the Bassin du Miroir a show of water displays, using modern techniques, set to the music of Handel and Blamont, as the high points of your walk. The Bassin de Neptune, the largest pool in the gardens of Château de Versailles, is graced every quarter of an hour with magnificent compositions of water jets, for a baroque and virtuoso choreography of sprays and waterfalls.
