During the Musical Fountains Show you can discover and enjoy the extraordinary beauty of the Château de Versailles gardens, of its groves exceptionally open to the public and of its fountains playing to the tune of period music.
The gardens were at the heart of King Louis XIV's attention and are world famous today. Already at the time of the King's reign, the Versailles groves were open air salons secluded at the heart of the wooded parts of the garden. The King and the court went there for a light meal, to listen to music or to dance. Decorated with fountains, vases and statues, these groves with their secret access bring fantasy and surprise within the Royal Garden.
These green bowers are now exceptionally accessible for you to discover. The talent of the 17th century fountain engineers and of their successors has always made the Musical Fountains Show an unforgettable and fairytale experience. The fountains play with multiple special effects and marble and metal gods, humans and animals seem to come to life for a few moments, for our greatest pleasure. When the fountains are playing, a ballet comes alive to enchant each and all. Your royal stroll will unfold to the tunes of the greatest baroque composers from Lully to Charpentier or Couperin.
For more than 350 years the success of the Musical Fountains Show has never waned. It is your turn to discover or rediscover them, with friends or family!

The Grandes Eaux de Versailles: thanks to the label of Château de Versailles Spectacles, discover the music which make the gardens and fountains of Versailles swing and which reverberates in the Royal Opera and the Royal Chapel.
SUGGESTION
On summer Saturdays, we offer the possibility of coupling your visit of the Musical Fountains Show with the Royal Serenade in the Hall of Mirrors, a visit of the Château de Versailles Grand Apartments with baroque musicians and dancers.

On the spot, at the entrance of the gardens, ticket for the Musical Fountains Show is 11€ (full rate) / 9.5€ (reduced rate).
The starting time (9 am) is the opening of the tickets desks and the groves. Your ticket is valid from 9 am until the closing of the groves.
GROUP RATE (7,75€) for 30+ tickets. Order by telephone at +33 (0)1 30 83 74 44 and at the group cash desk at the entrance of the gardens.

REDUCED RATE for 6-17 years old, students (upon presentation of the student card with your ticket during ticket checking), invalidity card + 1 guide for invalidity card.
FREE for children 0-5 years old, Château de Versailles Spectacles loyalty card holders, 1 year in Versailles card (solo or duo) holders, and Friends of the Palace of Versailles card holders.
In case of any technical problem, the box office service remain available to complete your order by phone at +33 (0)1 30 83 78 89 (Monday-Friday from 11am to 6pm) or in our box office-shop (3 bis rue des Réservoirs, 78000 Versailles ; Monday-Friday from 11am to 6pm, and on Saturdays with concerts or shows except during the Musical Fountains Shows, from 2pm to 5pm).

Groves open from 9 am to 7 pm.
Musical displays from 10 am to 7 pm.
Due to the drought action plan currently effective in the department of Yvelines, the water displays schedule has been modified:
All day long:
- Water display of the Mirror Pool every 10 minutes.
- Water display of the Neptune Foutain every 15 minutes.
- Water display of the Water Theater Grove continuously.
In the Morning : water display of the south of the gardens
- From 11 am to 12 pm: water display of the Great Perspective.
- From 11:15 am to 11:45 am: water display of the Ballroom grove, the Bacchus Fountain, the Saturne Fountain, the Colonnade Grove and the Girandole Grove.
In the Afternoon : water display of the north of the gardens
- From 3:30 pm to 5 pm: water display of the Great Perspective and all bosquets and fountains.
- 5.20 pm: water display at Neptune Fountain.
These schedules may vary depending on external events.

COVID 19 USEFUL INFORMATION AND PUBLIC HEALTH MEASURES
- The wearing of a face mask in the gardens of the Palace of Versailles is recommended.
Hand sanitiser is available at each entrance. On site, we kindly ask you to respect the health security measures and the distancing rules.
- Reservations are not necessary. The purchase of your ticket can be made on the spot, however we recommend that you buy your ticket in advance on our website to avoid queues at the ticket office and to take advantage of special rates. If you buy your ticket on the spot at the entrance to the gardens, payment exclusively by credit card or holiday voucher (no cash or cheques).
- Access to the gardens via the Princes’ Court (access via the Court of Honour of Château de Versailles / Tickets on site), the Neptune Gate (access via the Queen’s Gate, Boulevard de la Reine / Tickets on site at weekends only) or the Little Venice Gate (access via the Grand Parc / Tickets on site). The Dragon Gate is closed.
- Tickets for cancelled sessions of the Musical Fountains Show due to the Covid-19 pandemic remain valid from June 6, 2020, until the end of the 2020 season. Go directly to the entrance of the gardens, on the day of your choice, with your old ticket. The barcode will be scanned and serve as proof.
