Presentation
A fancy dress evening in the Hall of Mirrors
In your costume identical to those of the most beautiful periods of Versailles, you are invited to discover the refined and artistic atmosphere of the parties organised by Louis XIV, a timeless and unforgettable moment.
Welcome from 7pm with access to car park, cloakroom and ticket office. Free access activities, sketches and demonstrations from 7:30 pm. At 11 pm, you will be invited to the Hall of Mirrors for the closing ball. The evening will end with fireworks viewed from the Hall in Mirrors, as during the grandest hours of Versailles.
When buying your ticket, please select two of the three following activities:
- Dancing: Dancing class in the Hall of Mirrors. Four ballet masters will introduce you to the moves and figures of the contredanse, a favorite dance at the French Court in the 17th century.
- Chapel: Concert of sacred music in the Royal Chapel.
- Lower Gallery: Concert in the Lower Gallery

DRESS CODE: To preserve the magic of the Fêtes Galantes, you must come dressed in a quality baroque style costume and be wearing it when you arrive at the Palace (all guests must find their own costumes). No access will be granted to anyone not respecting the appropriate dress code.
You will potentially be filmed or photographed during this event. Château de Versailles Spectacles consider you abandon every appeal in case of use of those pictures for promotion of Fêtes Galantes.
